Sports Pitch Renovation Grass Seed is for the seasonal overseeding or repair of football and rugby pitches – or even the repair of the hard working family lawns! A blend of 100% perennial ryegrass seed, this grass seed mixture gives maximum wear tolerance.

Ideally suited for overseeding football pitches, rugby pitches and school playing fields at the end of the playing season. With the mixture being 100% perennial ryegrass it will germinate fast and give exceptional wear tolerance.

This grass seed blend is designed to establish and renovate sport surfaces and areas of extreme wear. The varieties within this mixture have been vigorously trialled for use in winter sports scenarios to ensure wear tolerance. Contains a blend of 100% perennial ryegrass providing fast germination as well as foot traffic tolerance.

  • Sowing rate = 30-50g per m²
  • Overseeding rate = 15-30g per m²
  • At the above sowing rates 20kg will cover 400-660m² for a new sowing, or 660-1330m² when overseeding
